Douglas Carvalho Caixeta

PhD and Masters in Health Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelor and Degree) from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Participated in the Tutorial Education Program (PET) Sesu/DIFES - MEC where he developed Teaching, Research and Extension activities. He carried out international mobility through the Santander Universities Luso-Brazilian Scholarship Program. He is currently a member of the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at the Institute of Biotechnology and a member of the Center for Innovation in Salivary Diagnosis and Nanotheranostics at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. It operates mainly in clinical research in diagnosis and monitoring of various pathologies by salivary and urinary biomarkers with nanobiotechnology and spectroscopy, in addition to acting with animal experimentation in models of diabetes mellitus, viral infections and chronic stress with the therapeutic use of natural products and redox biology.

Emília Maria Gomes Aguiar

Bachelor in Dentistry, with experience in the areas of Pathology, Physiology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Histology and Stomatology. Master in Integrated Dental Clinic (FOUFU), working in the lines of Bone Repair and Salivary Diagnosis, in the Integrative Physiology and Salivary Nanobiotechnology Group. Doctorate in Sciences (FOUSP), in the concentration area of ​​Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, with project development at the Molecular Pathology Laboratory (LPM-FOUSP), in the research lines of tumor stem cells in malignant tumors of the head and neck, therapy targeting, drug repositioning and carcinogenesis. Internship in Teaching, in the disciplines of Oral Physiology and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Cellular and molecular methods applied to research in dentistry. Experience in laboratory management, in addition to theoretical and practical knowledge of flow cytometry techniques, ELISA, western blotting, RT-qPCR, cell culture, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) and in vivo models. Expertise in routine histopathological diagnosis, at the Surgical Pathology Service of FOUSP (2018-2022).She is currently a member of the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at the Institute of Biotechnology and a member of the Center for Innovation in Salivary Diagnosis and Nanobiotechnology.

Ana Paula de Lima

​Graduated in Chemistry Full Degree (2011), Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with Technological Assignments (2011), Master's Degree in Chemistry (2013) and PhD in Biofuels (2018) from the Federal University of Uberlândia. Experience in industry and teaching. She is currently a member of the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at the Institute of Biotechnology and a member of the Center for Innovation in Salivary Diagnosis and Nanobiotechnology.

Deisy Vivian de Resende

Graduated in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (2004), master's and doctorate in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases (Concentration Area in Applied Parasitology and Immunology) from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (2007-2012). Professor of the Technical Course in Clinical Analysis at the Federal University of Uberlândia - CTAC/UFU. Has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology, with emphasis on intestinal coccidiosis, mainly in the following subjects: Cystoisospora belli, Cryptosporidium spp. and intestinal protozoa of humans and animals. She is currently a member of the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at the Institute of Biotechnology and a member of the Center for Innovation in Salivary Diagnosis and Nanobiotechnology.

Ricardo Rodrigues
